柏朗思觀瀾湖學校@家長課堂Parents Learning about Teaching at BM

在柏朗思觀瀾湖學校， 我們一直期待家長朋友們以各種形式參與到整個BMH學習社區(qū)的建設。對于孩子們的教育，家長朋友們有什么樣的思考，他們的關(guān)注程度，以及他們?nèi)绾瓮ㄟ^更多的認識BMH從而能夠更好地支持孩子們在校園里的學習，將在很大程度上幫助我們共同建設充滿活力和創(chuàng)新力的BMH學習社區(qū)。

This week's Coffee Morning was no exception with over 130 parents signing up and attending the session offered by Ms. Packman and Ms. Chen for parents from K3 to Prep 5 about 'Teaching and Learning in the Prep School'.

本周的咖啡晨會由我們的小學部及幼兒園校長帕克曼女士和學術(shù)副校長陳女士共同主持，主題是關(guān)于小學的教與學，如歷次咖啡晨會一樣廣受歡迎，來自K3到Prep5的130多名家長參加此次家校共建活動。

Topics covered included pillars of Inquiry, English, Chinese and Mathematics with information, examples and videos of BMH Prep School lessons in these areas used to highlight to parents some of the approaches that successfully allow us to teach our dynamic curriculum.

會議主題涉及了包括探究課、英語課、中文課和數(shù)學課，兩位校長以學校日常課堂里的小短片和實例向各位家長朋友展示了讓我們的課堂充滿活力的教育教學方式。

Throughout the session, Ms. Packman and Ms. Chen highlighted the ways in which the BMH approach empowers students at their developmental level throughout Prep School and how the approach builds foundations for their future success through Senior School and in the journey to university.

會議過程中，校長帕克曼女士和學術(shù)副校長陳女士著重闡釋了BMH的教育教學方法如何賦能孩子在未來的發(fā)展和成長。BMH的教育是面向未來的教育，我們設計課程和教育的過程是著眼于發(fā)展在未來的初高中，以及大學包括他們終身需要的能力和素養(yǎng)。

Parents were pleased to see new methods such as Talk for Writing enriching our language learning, and were interested in the data presented to highlight the value behind our approach to Mathematics.

家長朋友們很高興了解了我們目前正在采用的寫作教學方法- 討論式教學，寫作能力在未來是一項很重的競爭力，我們通過系統(tǒng)的課程幫助孩子做好未來的預備。 同時對我們數(shù)學教學方法所呈現(xiàn)出的數(shù)據(jù)也非常感興趣。
