First Day Back to SAIS Delayed Until Feb. 17 深美國際學

深美國際延遲開學至2月17日，與大家攜手共克時艱

　　Dear Members of the SAIS Community,

　　The Guangdong Provincial Leading Group for Pneumonia Prevention and Control of New Coronavirus Infection launched the first-level response to a major public health emergency on Jan. 23, 2020. According to this level of response to the requirements for epidemic control and the instructions from Shenzhen Education Bureau, SAIS is following the government expectations and requirements as below,

　　SAIS would like to do a baseline screening on faculty and student families who have traveled to Wuhan city or any cities in Hubei Province in January. For the safety of SAIS faculty and students, please make sure to report to the school to fill in the form as soon as possible by emailing at school@szsais.org.

　　All international schools excluding high school level are required to be closed till Feb. 17. SAIS faculty report for PD day and the school preparation on Feb.14. SAIS students return to school on Feb. 17.

　　When the school resumes, all faculty, students, parents and visitors should be taken temperature before entering the campus. The main gate will be in a half gateopen, students are required to line up for temperature taking.

　　SAIS will keep track of students and faculty’s attendance daily and report to the related office accordingly. Please ask for sick leaves for your child and don't send any child who might have a fever with similar symptoms to school.

　　SAIS will continue working closely with the education and health authorities andtake the precautions for students’ safety.

　　SAIS reminds you to stay away from crowds and wear masks in public and also to wash hands frequently.

　　SAIS encourages students to continue the habit of reading at home during the break. Teachers will also be communicating after the scheduled break is over with at home or on-line assignments. Please check your classdojo frequently. Room parents will also help to communicate with your teacher if any questions.
